When I was filling out the passport application, I saw this and went "Huh????"
It just goes to show how far our country has come in terms of GLBT rights. We have had hijras come to us at any road junction in Bombay and on the trains. They are now in city councils, and recently even hosting TV shows as this article shows.
I guess this is part of the inevitable advancement in human rights. Good for them.
Whatever is next ? A Chief minister ?p.s None of my postings are meant to offend anyone.. take it in good humour :)
