VR for the Wii-mote

Ok.. i'm no geek, no wii Fanboy nor a core gamer, and neither is this the place to post...but i came across this video on youtube and my jaw just hit the floor!!!

Think of the uses... on an FPS, you can actually duck and miss a grenade, on a driving sim, when you reflexively move you body on a tight turn at San Marino, you turn the car.

Wow.!!

Do you really want to know how?

While in a vehicle, if you ever have too much time on ...err ...your hands, and dont know how, then just follow the instructions.

It turns out that they have instructions in vernacular tongues too. Interesting.

Work life imbalance - Who wants dinner?

Man, do I feel that way. I've been absolutely gobbled up. May be i should quit. But the money is too good.

What am I missing out on, I wonder. But then again, looking at statements like this open my eyes to the fact that I am not alone. I've become so used to waking up like a robot and getting into work and mechanically doing what I do day in and day out, waiting for sweet release.

I need to revive my life. What about you ?

The government and monopoly

We all know that governments steal from the public. Everybody suspects ( and rightly so) the politicians of looting, thuggery, pilferage. Basically anything.

But did you know that they have a monopoly on it ? Did you know that no body else can lay claim to the riches that the public have to offer? Well, the sticker on that car says so..

I know you cant read it..but it says " DONT STEAL : The government hates competition"

p.s If that is your car and you read this, give yourself a pat on the back and take the rest of the day off.

the Others on the Indian Passport application

When I was filling out the passport application, I saw this and went "Huh????"

It just goes to show how far our country has come in terms of GLBT rights. We have had hijras come to us at any road junction in Bombay and on the trains. They are now in city councils, and recently even hosting TV shows as this article shows.

I guess this is part of the inevitable advancement in human rights. Good for them.

Whatever is next ? A Chief minister ?

p.s None of my postings are meant to offend anyone.. take it in good humour :)

Horn OK Please

All the odd stuff that are uniquely Indian , as I lead a normal life ..

Feel free to send me stuff/links/pics/money :)
