Knowing how crowded Bangalore buses are, all you have to do after you get off is peel your wrinkled shirt off, hand over to dhobi, receive ironed shirt and walk into office with crisp sleeves and a warm feeling around your collar

the Others on the Indian Passport application

When I was filling out the passport application, I saw this and went "Huh????"


It just goes to show how far our country has come in terms of GLBT rights. We have had hijras come to us at any road junction in Bombay and on the trains. They are now in city councils, and recently even hosting TV shows as this article shows.

I guess this is part of the inevitable advancement in human rights. Good for them.

Whatever is next ? A Chief minister ?
